This single source Madagascar vanilla extract is made from hand selected vanilla beans from the Bourbon Island of Madagascar. With a mellow, sweet and creamy flavor and a velvety aftertone this is a perfect all purpose vanilla.
All Nielsen-Massey Pure Vanilla Extracts & Pastes have a recommended shelf life of three years from the date of production. However, they will continue to mellow and develop flavor as they age, just as a fine wine or liquor would.

One tablespoon of vanilla extract is equivalent to one vanilla bean.
