I saw this cake lace on Flour Confections website, and loved it, so, I bought some to give it a try.....and sooooo glad I did.....wasn't sure what to expect, but, it is so easy to make and so easy to spread on the cake lace....After trouble shooting a bit, I found I need to bake it at 200 degrees F, for 20 minutes, for it to come out dry and with sharp edges. When mixing, be sure to use the wire wisk on your stand up mixer...I made the mistake first of using the paddle, and the mixture didn't come out quite right....I haven't used it on a cake yet, but because you can keep and store this for so long, I am able to use it at another time. I would highly recommend this product to anyone....You will be amazed when you peel off the lace from the silicone....it's beautiful.
