Confectioners Choice black fondant is much drier than its white version. Doesn't stretch as much. However it tends to crack at sharp edges. Definitely will use shortening to roll it out instead of cornstarch or icing sugar.

Very gritty and not good to work with. Rather not it pre mixed. I would not buy it again. The boxes were exactly what I need but rip easily.
