| Class Information, Policies & Registration:
Full payment is required at the time of registration for each and every class.
If payment is via cheque, the entire class fee is due fourteen (14) days prior to the start of the first class with the exception of celebrity guest instructor classes*.
*Celebrity Guest Instructors: Throughout the year, we will offer unique classes taught by celebrity guest instructors. In order to guarantee the number of students in a guest class, the entire class fee must be paid at the time of registration and is non-refundable. Cancellations will not result in a refund - all payments are final.
Class fees may be paid in person with cash, cheque, or online by major credit card or PayPal.
NSF cheques will result in a fee of $45.
All deposits & fees are forfeited for no shows.
Cancellation Policies:
If for any reason Flour Confections should cancel a class, a full refund will be offered to the student, however Flour Confections does not accept responsibility for hotel or airline cancellation penalties or other expenses incurred due to class cancellation.
If a student cancellation (for in-house classes only - see Celebrity Guest Instructors) is received within fourteen (14) days prior to the start of the first class, a credit note less a $50 administration fee will be issued. This credit note can be applied to future classes or supplies and will expire after six (6) months from the date of issue, with the exception of guest instructor classes*. This policy does not apply to celebrity guest instructor classes - all payments for celebrity guest instructor classes are non-refundable.
Flour Confections reserve the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment up until 48 hours before the class date. We reserve the right to change class schedules or adjust necessary fees without prior notice. If a cancellation or changes occur, a full refund will be given to students.
Full classes will have a waiting list. Please contact us directly if you would like to be added to the waiting list.
Unfortunately we cannot provide "make-up" classes for any missed material or sessions, so please be sure to attend all sessions in their entirety.
Registrations fees cannot be transferred to another class.
Should you be sending someone else in your place, please be sure to contact us so that we can have the appropriate name badges and paperwork in order.
Classes will begin on time, so please be sure to allow enough time to arrive and prepare prior to the start of the class. Every attempt will be made to keep the class running smoothly and on time, however some classes may run over, so please plan accordingly. Every attempt will be made to cover all of the material outlined in the class description. However in some cases, it may be necessary to change the class outline due to time limitations and/or other unavoidable situations.
Cameras are allowed in class, however please check with each instructor prior to use. Video and voice recording devices is not permitted during class. Those found to be recording will be asked to leave. For the consideration of our instructors and other students, we ask that you refrain from posting step-by-step in progress pictures of our classes & the material covered.
For the consideration of fellow students and the instructors, please be sure to quiet all cell phones and beepers.
All tools and equipment will be supplied for use during each class, unless otherwise noted in the class outline. Please be sure to bring a pen, paper and an apron to each class.
Please be sure to wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes. Flip flops and other open sandals are not permitted in our kitchen. In order to maintain Health & Safety standards, if you have long hair please keep it tied up for the duration of the class.
All full day classes will include lunch, unless otherwise noted in the class outline.
All classes are taught in English.
Students must be 18 years of age or older to attend classes at Flour Confections

. Return the completed form along with the full payment including HST for each selected course. Payment options are Visa, MasterCard, American Express or cheque made payable to "Flour Confections". Please note that all cheques must be received minimum 14 days prior to course start date.
By Fax: Complete and sign the provided registration form. Fax the completed form to 905-492-2693. We only accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express or PayPal for faxed registrations. Your credit card will be billed for full amount of the class fee for each selected course.
